The song was produced by the pop product duo Kyle James & Parker Ighile, who co-wrote the top line alongside Talay Riley. The song was officially released on iv October 2009. An official remix has been made with Boy Ameliorate Know.

Disquisitional reception [edit]

Fraser McAlpine of BBC Chart Web log gave the song a positive review and four stars stating: "Y'all've got to hand information technology to Chipmunk, there aren't many rappers who tin stand up out for having especially strong self-confidence, in a field which is dominated by mirror-kissing loudmouths. Rappers are the merely people in the world who, if history was run once again from the start, would've invented a soft drink with their name on it before fire. And all the same, there'south something about this dapper chap'southward particular form of audacity which never really comes across like proper airs. For his latest, the Chipster is sad because he has been hurt past a girl. The manner he gets this beyond is to play some wistful piano, and to get a lady vocalist to sing "I'grand a walking disaster" and "all I'll do is hurt you again", so he doesn't come across every bit being some emotionless thug who'd dump a girl for wearing the wrong shade of lipstick. It's her fault, really!".[three] Digital Spy awarded the vocal iii/v stars and said of the song: "Following the superlative ten success of 'Diamond Rings', Chipmunk hasn't cleaved ranks from his winning formula. His lyrics about the woes of puppy dear, "Baseball love, 3 strikes you lot're out, you're likewise busy trying to take hold of me out", may be a side-step away from boyband cheese, but thanks to some lush harmonies from Ms D and an infectious piano hook, 'Oopsy Daisy' sounds like another hit. The future of grime? Probably non. A decent pop career alee? Nigh certainly".[4]
